Description

Evaluation consisting of the excavation of 13 trenches split across two areas and positioned to target anomalies seen in data from a ground penetrating radar survey. Each of the trenches measured 30m long by 2m wide. Two areas of archaeological potential were identified both containing the remains of medieval structures. One of these areas was around Trenches 1,2 and 5, and the second around Trenches 8 and 9.
