Description

Wessex Archaeology excavated 57 trenches to evaluate a site proposed by Low Carbon UK Solar Investment for construction of a solar farm. Each trench measured 30m x 2m and trenches were positioned to target the results of a geophysical survey. No archaeological features were recorded. A small flint scraper was recovered from the topsoil in the south-east field.
