Description
Geophysical survey by Stratascan of 6.8 hectares proposed for a link road, commissioned by Wessex Archaeology. A detailed magnetic survey revealed numerous responses likely to be caused by infilled cut features, most notably a circular feature and prominent linear response with a possible entrance in the north of the site. A further rectilinear feature is seen in the south east. These are likely to be caused by archaeological cut features although it is not possible to determine if they are contemporary with each other.
