Recording of groundworks for a temporary airwave mast took place as a condition of planning consent. Ground reduction of an area approximately 7m by 5m to a depth of 12-38cm below the surface was monitored and machined layers and spoil examined for finds. A rubble layer was found at around 30cm deep, but by a modern pipe trench running north-south. A pathway of frogged red bricks and a modern pit were seen. No archaeological features were found.
