Description
Observations and recording during construction of a small housing development of approximately 0.12 ha within the area of the planned medieval town. The only pre-modern archaeological feature present was a gully of probable later 15th-century date in the northern edge of the development area. There was no indication of a ditch/bank delineating the northern boundary of the planned medieval town.
