Description
A trial trench (FR16) was excavated by Wessex Archaeology as part of the evaluation of the course of the Southern Dorchester By-pass in 1987 (1).
Only a single feature was found in Trench FR16. This was a pear-shaped feature containing burnt material and may have been a Romano-British graindrier.
