CLIFTON MAYBANK - ST 51 SE 8/45 Two Sets of Gate piers and attached Garden Walls South and West of Clifton House
II The description shall be amended to read :-
Add after the first sentence-"Part C18 and part early C20: Those to south with adjoining low boundary wall constructed between 1906 and 1916". Rest of the description stands.
CLIFTON MAYBANK ST 51 SE - 8/45 Two sets of Gate-piers and attached Garden Walls south and west of Clifton House GV II Gate-Piers and attached garden walls. C18. Stone and brick. Ashlar stone piers at south entrance, with moulded cornices and ball finials, low stone walling with coping-stones, for 5 metres to the east, and 30 metres to the west. Brick walls with coping-stones, run for 110 metres west, then return north for 100 metres, and then return east for 110 metres to the house. Brick gate-piers on the west wall, have stone pedestals and moulded stone cornices. Carved heraldic horses heads (for Horsey) above cornices.
