Early to mid C18 detached house with 2-storey, 5-window front of usual brickwork. Brick pilasters divide the front into 3 bays, the centre bay having open pediment. Heavily enriched modillion cornice. 2 pedimented dormers. Sash windows with wide glazing bars. Triple keystones. Central lst floor window is round- headed and has a moulded archivolt. The front has had a porch and a square ground floor bay added. The back wing is early C19. The ground floor has been much altered adjoining to form a glove factory, but some panelling remains in South and West walls of Southernmost ground floor room. Small elegant Georgian staircase with turned balusters leads up to attic. Wall cupboards, panelled doors.
