2. In the above mentioned entry the description shall be altered to read as follows:-
Mid C18. Red brick. Ashlar dressings. Pitched roof, covered in roofing felt. 2 storeys and attics. Moulded eaves cornice. Parapet with stone or stucco piers and recessed panels. 5 sashes with glazing bars and keystones, panels of vitrified brick between them. Venetian central window, with stone columns and pilasters with fluted caps, taking moulded entablature and archivolt: deep moulded keystone. 2 hipped dormers. Panelled door and semi-circular fanlight, with panelled reveals and moulded archivolt. It was moved from the centre of building in the early C20 (after 1905) when a mid C19 shopfront previously confined to the two right-hand bays was expanded across the entire frontage. The Doric columns supporting the fascia are reused C19, the cast iron mullions and plate glass windows early C20. Original rainwater head and down pipes. Rear has a rendered 2-storey extension with hipped roof. Inside is a late C18 staircase with slender wooden balusters. Room on 1st floor has 2 niches with moulded surrounds and 3-centred arched heads. (Illustrated prior to insertion of present shopfront in Bridport News, 23 June 1905.)
