Abstract/Summary
A watching brief was maintained during the construction of two new dwellings at Backlands Farm, Charmouth (SY36399370). This lies at the back of one of the burgage plots laid out as part of the new town created in the late 13th century. No finds, features or deposits of archaeological significance were observed.
