Abstract/Summary
This report summarises work completed in Field C in 1995. This included fieldwalking prior to topsoil removal, excavation of subsoil features and a subsoil search for finds. Metal detector searches were conducted at surface, subsoil and reinstated topsoil levels. Excavated features together with subsoil and reinstated topsoil levels. Excavated features together with artefact evidence suggests the following sequences for land use of Field C.
