Abstract/Summary
A desk-based archaeological study and walkover survey has been carried out at seven possible locations for the site of a proposed exploratory drill site, and a proposed access track, north-west of Wareham, Dorset. While the area is considered to be of some archaeological potential this study has been unable to identify any one location which is to be preferred on the basis of archaeology. No specific archaeological impacts can be identified at any site from this present level of survey.
