Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was carried out at the above site, comprising the excavation of five trenches with a total length of 333m². No evidence for archaeological activity was revealed. The site lies close to recorded discoveries of a Romano-British settlement and burials and to the Medieval settlement of Putton, but no evidence for related activity was present in the evaluation trenches.
