Abstract/Summary

The proposed BP Export pipeline is designed to carry oil from the onshore Wytch Farm oilfield in Dorset, to oil handling facilities on Southampton Water, and for part of its length, gas from Wytch Farm to Sopley. The pipeline, 90km in length, is designed to follow an inland route to avoid urban areas along the coastal fringe. The survey was carried out by a four person team over eight weeks during March/April 1987.
