Abstract/Summary
Brief catalogue of archaeological works carried out on Roman sites in Britain during 1977. This includes a summary of the excavation at Wollaston House, Dorchester, reproduced here in full:

(3) Dorchester (Durnovaria, SY694905): a trench 20 by 40 m was cut at Wollaston House in advance of proposed building-works. A large structure, much robbed in post-medieval times, proved to be the bath-house which has subsequently been shown to cover an area of c. 90 by 120 m (E to W).
