Abstract/Summary

A report on a small scale excavation in 1970. Eleven phases of activity were defined. Phase 1 was pre 4th-century AD undated slots and gullies. Phases 2-3 comprise the remains of a stone footed building, which was remodelled. Phase 4-5 demolition and robbing of building. Phases 6-11 post-medieval activity.
