Abstract/Summary
"Terrain Archaeology was commissioned by Villaframe Ltd ot carry out excavations on the former St John Ambulance Hall, North Square, (SY69329086), during July 2001. Along the Friary Lane frontage wall remnants and footings of two post-medieval houses were exposed. Below successive layers of levelling and consolidation the footings of a Roman building and Roman occupation/floor levels were exposed."
