Abstract/Summary
Report presents the results of an archaeological evaluation carried out by Wessex Archaeology on land adjacent to Bridport Road, Dorchester in support of a planning application for light industrial development.Three machine-cut trenches comprised a c2% sample by area of the proposed development site. No archaeologically significant features were identified., and a low arcghaeological potential for the site was posited. A ;modest' collection pf prehistoric worked flint was recovered from topsoil and subsoil deposits.
