Abstract/Summary
A desk-based assessment in advance of a proposed landscaping scheme for the Borough Gardens, summarising the known archaeological resource on the site, primarily the Roman town defences and Roman burials. The impact of the proposed works is also considered.

Unpublished report by Exeter Archaeology for Plincke Landscape on behalf of Dorchester Town Council, dated January 2002. Note the DHER file copy is a draft version only. The presence of theproject code 4371 suggests there may be a final version in the HER files, but It could not be located Feb 2017.
