Abstract/Summary
A watching brief was carried out during the construction of a new footway/cycleway across watermeadows in the floodplain of the River Frome, immediately to the north of Dorchester.
No significant archaeological finds or features were encountered during the groundworks. All features recovered are of post-medieval date and are associated with the water meadows or maintenance of the river bank.
