Abstract/Summary
A watching brief was carried out by Peter Bellamy of Terrain Archaeology in March and April 2002, during the construction of a new footway/cycleway across watermeadows in the floodplain of the River Frome, immediately to the north of Dorchester.
No significant archaeological finds or features were encountered during the groundworks. All features recovered are of post-medieval date and are associated with the water meadows or maintenance of the river bank.
