Abstract/Summary
‘An archaeological watching brief relating to the construction of a temporary compound on land at Woodswater Lane, Beaminster, Dorset (centred on NGR 348521 1015540), was carried out by AC archaeology Ltd during January 2021. The watching brief comprised the monitoring of topsoil stripping across the compound area. No evidence for any archaeological deposits were revealed, with only a small quantity of 19th century and later material present within the topsoil, including brick, pottery and glass. It is proposed that this material is discarded.’
