Abstract/Summary
OASIS: This is a document describing and discussing all aspects of the historic environment (Conservation areas, Listed Buildings, Ancient Monuments and archaeological sites) in relation to the development proposal.
Project Results: Thus it can be seen that this building is listed because of its date. It is much altered with only one elevation being in anything like its original form. Internally there are few features of historic or architectural interest apart from the ground floor doors. On the ground floor the plan form partly retains its historic form. In addition there are clear detracting elements which include: 1. The front extension 2. The breeze block lean to 3. The rear porch The proposals are to remove the detracting elements and to replace them with a smaller extension which is in keeping with the rest of the building. This is clearly an enhancement and should be welcomed.
