SDO20981 - Geophysical Survey Report. Land at Parnham House, Beaminster

‘A magnetometer survey of 4 hectares of land at Parnham House, Beaminster has recorded a number of magnetic responses that could be of archaeological interest. A possible ring-ditch and enclosure with trends extending beyond it are visible in the data. However, the responses are very weak which has hindered a confident interpretation. Discrete uncertain anomalies are likely to be due to modern processes wile a couple of linear trends could be due to land drains. Several service pipes have also been plotted in the data.’
