Abstract/Summary
‘An archaeological trench evaluation was undertaken by AC archaeology during March 2024 on land at Bradle Farm, Sandford, Wareham (centred on SY 93090 80656). The evaluation comprised the machine excavation of two trenches, each 10m long and 1.5m wide. They were positioned to provide comprehensive coverage across the footprint of a proposed new slurry store.
No archaeological features or deposits were present, although four abraded sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from a subsoil layer.’
