SDO20878 - Warmwell Airfield Quarry, Crossways: Archaeological Assessment

Assessment carried out in advance of the proposed development at the quarry. The assessment revealed that previous quarrying of the majority of the site had destroyed practically all sub-surface features. Although a small amount of late prehistoric finds were noted from the area, the potential for any archaeological remains being discovered on the eastern edge of the site was low.
