Abstract/Summary
This small brochure provides a brief history of the church on Portland, describing some features and the architectual style. St Peter's is noted as seating 520 people but on the day of its consecration, 27th August 1872, more than 600 people where present. Some war-time addtions to the church are described and the church is still used today for Sunday Communion.
