Abstract/Summary
Report on a desk-based assess of a 45ha site west of Waterditch Farm n connection with a proposal for the construction of a solar farm. The examination of existing resources showed that there were no known heritage assets on the site or in a position to be affected by the proposed development.
However, the site was found to be within 5km of Palaeolithic and Iron Age archaeology of international importance and within 1km of a Bronze Age landscape of at least regional importance. The author recommended a watching brief on the groundwork of the development because of the possibility of the presence of unknown archaeological features on the site.
