Abstract/Summary

Following the discovery of what was reported as an old wall during building work, Terrain Archaeology were brought in to investigate. The wall proved to be part of the original construction of the cottage: a dwarf wall to support a suspended floor. Evidence of internal re-organisation of the building and the remains of a bread oven were recorded.
