Abstract/Summary
A preliminary study of the history and fabric of the Shire Hall was undertaken, including the architecture and uses of the building. A particular focus was placed on the courtroom in which the trial of the Tolpuddle Martyrs took place. Further research and fabric analysis was recommended together with photographic recording.
