SDO16302 - Land at West Parley, Dorset

‘A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 14.2 hectares of arable farmland and grassland. No archaeological anomalies have been detected. A number of former field boundaries and evidence of modern ploughing indicate that the site has a largely agricultural past. The remaining features include a former gravel pit, a trackway, a possible non-ferrous service, areas of natural magnetic variation and disturbance from nearby ferrous metal objects.’
