Abstract/Summary
Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Spetisbury Construction Ltd to carry out an archaeological watching brief in relation to the proposed redevelopment of the site. Groundworks were monitored and a number of medieval and post-medieval features were found including a pit cluster, two singular pits, ditches relating to burgage plots and possible footings from an earlier phase of building.
