Abstract/Summary
A watching brief by Arrowhead Archaeology recorded the original path surface of the Promenade created in the early 18th century after reduction in level of the innermost defensive bank of the Roman Town Durnovaria. No features of Roman date were present, with the earliest recorded features apart from the path surface dating to the 18th Century.
