Abstract/Summary
The aim of this paper was to investigate the buildings associated with the Verwood pottery industry using geophyical prospection, desk based assessment and field observations. A known kiln site outside Horton was chosen and through topographic, magnetic and earth resistence surveys an attempt was made to determine the remains of buildings associated with the pottery.
The survey has identidied at least one set of associated buildings that were perhaps drying barns or workshops.
