Abstract/Summary
Horton and Chalbury Village Hall Committee proposed to build a village hall at the eastern end of the village adjacent to the remains of a 17th century pottery kiln that produced Verwood style pottery. Observation of ground works revealed the possible remains of a 13th century surface and associated pottery and the cut and fill of a former clay pit.
