Abstract/Summary
This report describes the excavation of a single small ring-ditch. Although a date in the Later Bronze Age - Early Iron Age can be suggested, its function remains enigmatic. Its association with both barrow cemeteries and ancient field systems is described, and its structural characteristics are discussed with particular reference to recently available excavation and survey evidence in the area of the South Dorset Ridgeway.
