Abstract/Summary
‘Terrain Archaeology carried out a watching brief during the excavation of a footings trench for a new dwelling on land adjacent 10A Sweet Hill Road, Southwell, Portland, Dorset, in August 2006. No features or deposits of archaeological interest were found. A small quantity of 12th-13th century medieval pottery was recovered from the topsoil.’
