SDO14477 - Hillside, Little England, Milborne St Andrew, Dorset. Observations after Site Clearance.

‘Terrain Archaeology recorded the site of a new house at Hillside, Little England, Milborne St Andrew after the major groundworks had already been completed. The groundworks had destroyed any trace of potential archaeology over most of the site. However, the remains of three features truncated by the groundworks were recorded. All were undated, but one feature in the south east corner of the site was prehistoric in character. The significance and function of these features is difficult to determine given the amount of disturbance caused by the groundworks.’
