SDO14412 - Cerne Abbas Geophysical Survey September 2014

‘This report presents the results of a geophysical survey conducted at Cerne Abbas, near Dorchester in September 2014. The survey was conducted in four areas enquiring into the layout and water management of the former Benedictine abbey. The report explains the strategy and survey method together with interpretation, discussion and conclusion of the survey results. The geophysical survey employed resistivity meter and fluxgate magnetometer equipment. The survey was performed for and with an independent client to support academic research.’
