Abstract/Summary
Wessex Archaeology were commissioned by C G Fry & Son Ltd to undertake an assessment of five plots of land to the north of Bere Regis, Dorset, centred on NGR SY 8488 9512.
The main archaeological potential would appear to be prehistoric remains (field systems/settlement) and Roman roadside features such as ditches/structures. Evidence for medieval and post-medieval use of the fields is also likely.
