Abstract/Summary
Report presents the results of a programme of archaeological evaluation carried out by Exeter Archaeology at Lower Southcombe Farm, Piddletrenthide, prior to determination of planning permission for a new dwelling.
Two 1metre by 1 metre trial pits were excavated within the proposed footprint of the new house. No archaeologically significant features or finds were identified, and the report concludes that the site has previously been terraced onto- or into natural chalk.
