Abstract/Summary
The report presents the results of an evaluation of the proposed A35 road improvement route, comprising surface artefact collection and an augur survey (30 metre unit spacings), together with a Historic Landscape Assessment. No archaeologically significant sites or features were identified, although a small assemblage of prehistoric flint was gained from the surface collection works. Two modifications to the scheme were proposed to improve its visual aspect.
