Abstract/Summary

‘In 1974/5 pottery, including wasters, mainly of a white fabric was discovered near East Holme (Purbeck) by the late Donald Young. Further research, and analysis of the sherds has led to conclusive evidence for a Post-Medieval kiln in the immediate area, which appears to have been in production during the 17th to early 18th century.’
