Abstract/Summary
‘In March 2012, Terrain Archaeology carried out an archaeological watching brief during machine trenching by Southern Gas Networks for installation of a new replacement gas main between the A352 and the Winfrith Technology Centre, near Wool, Dorset (centred on OS NGR SY82128642). No archaeological features or finds were identified within the trench, but a small group of flint flakes was retrieved from ploughsoil adjacent to the trench, primarily from the southern end of its route.’
