Abstract/Summary
Context One Archaeological Services Ltd (COAS) undertook an archaeological watching brief during groundworks for replacement of a water main over four days from 12th to 24th October 2011. The work was commissioned by Wessex Water Plc. No evidence was found for the survival of archaeological features or deposits. Three flints recorded during stripping of the easement suggest activity in the area during the Bronze Age.
