Abstract/Summary
Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Southern Electric plc to carry out an archaeological watching brief during the excavation of a trench for an underground cable at a site of potential archaeological significance at Ranston, Dorset (centred on NGR ST 860 120). Observations revealed a small, undated pit and two field drains. Two fragments of modern tile were recovered.
