Abstract/Summary
AC Archaeology undertook the archaeological evaluation of a proposed borehole site at West Stafford, Dorchester, Dorset (OS NGR SY719891). Two machine cut trenches totalling 382.5 square metres represented a c3.18 percent sample of the site. Evidence including a light scatter of artefacts and a number of buried features were tentatively interpreted as indicating proximity to a Bronze Age settlement.
