Abstract/Summary
Report presents the results and interpretation of a programme of geophysical survey (topsoil magnetic susceptibility and gradiometry) carried out by Oxford Archaeotechnics on the proposed site of a cemetery on the south side of the A341 south east of Canford Magna. The survey identified a number of anomalies that could represent sub-surface remains relating to prehistoric land use. Prehistoric flint flakes and burnt flint fragments were observed on the field surface during the course of the survey.
