Abstract/Summary
A small barrow had been raised over a globular Deverel-Rimbury urn, inverted just above the old ground surface, and above an infilled pit. Pieces of charcoal were around the urn, while, nearby, pine charcoal had been placed in another small pit. These had been subsequently covered by the barrow heaped up in stages from the ditch.
