Abstract/Summary

A planning application was submitted to West Dorset District Council for a track to allow access to extract timber from Boarsbarrow Hill. Steve Wallis of the Dorset County Council Archaeology Services visited the site on 21 September 1994. It was clear that neither the proposed track or timber extraction would affect the barrows.
